DIRECT COMMUNICATION LINES
As part of the new approach, the suppliers are in the same building as Van Oord. This has created short, direct communication lines and makes it possible to plan and prepare major repairs and modifications jointly with all suppliers involved. The supply chain is optimized while creating space for, and boosting confidence in jointly developing and testing innovations. Thomas de Haas, Director Parts & Services Pon Power, clarifies: "The cooperation with Van Oord connects seamlessly to the philosophy of Pon Power.
